Accessibility is one of the main challenges that forces women into vulnerable situations and puts them at risk of falling into poverty and experiencing gender-based violence. Sudanese women are digitally marginalized. The structural and intersectional discrimination that women experience is reinforced in the digital world. The high rate of poverty and literacy among women, the absence of gender-sensitive policies in addition to the economic sanctions against Sudan contributed to depriving women of accessing the internet, online information, and acquiring digital skills to be able to lead a life free of violence where their human rights are met.
